  • May 8, 2006, 8:09:17 PM UTC
Well it is about time we get to see some of Lloyd;s beautiful work colored. Smile And I must say you are doing a marvelous job. Back when I first saw this one he reminded me of the Rock. He still does, but the color has brought him even more to life. Which I didn't think was possible after Lloyd's wonderful work. Oh man... enough butt kissing. Smile I love the rusted effect on that chain. I think if I ever ran into the end of that thing I would need a tetnus shot. Though I think tetnus would be the least of my worries. The mosaic style background fits this perfectly. You have done an excellent job on one of my favorite pieces of Lloyd's. You guys keep up the great work. Yes
    • May 8, 2006, 8:36:13 PM UTC
Thanks, I had great fun working on this one. This is also one of my Favorites of Lloyd's works of art. Yeah I didn't figure him to be much into Maintaining his weapon, when he can just go get another. And it ads to the Damage he can cause. Especially when so many will just run away.Any suggestion what should be next?
      • May 8, 2006, 10:11:19 PM UTC
        Fairy Cheesecake!!
      • May 9, 2006, 7:43:05 PM UTC
Suggestions eh? Well goodness, there are so many of Lloyd's work that I would LOVE to see colored if that is what you mean. I think I saw that someone wanted to see Fairie Cheesecake colored. I would have to agree with that. Either that or The Fall of Gabriel. That one is my ABSOLUTE favorite of Lloyd's. Yes Well keep up the good work. You have mad skills at digital coloring. I am still a rookie at it. >< But I am getting there. Don't quite know where "there" is, but I am getting there. Okay, I will shut up now. I am so friggen random. ><
        • May 9, 2006, 8:54:06 PM UTC
Its all Trial and error. Also allot of refrence to to books. The Elf Ranger was actually my second Digital Colored job. I'm working on the cheesecake and on Lee by Arkillian, Right now.
    • May 8, 2006, 10:19:47 PM UTC
Thanks Kristy! I took a chance I know with the coloring as I first had my reservations about what it would take from piece but after reading the positive comments and critiques i'm glad Lando, colored it for me. So once again, thanks Lando!

Well you are known for your graphite works my dear, so it is only natural that you would be a bit hesitant on having your most well known and well loved works being changed. But he has made what is already beautiful even more wonderful. Man, that sounded so corny. >< I hope you will let him color more. I would LOVE to see Fall Of Gabriel colored. He seems to have a very "soft" and subtle edge to his coloring which would be perfect for that piece. Oh and in case my new avatar isn't showing up, I did the unthinkable. I traded my trademark red locks in for purple now. >< It is a drastic change, but it is growing on me. Anyways, I will be waiting for more beautiful work from you. Hug
  • May 8, 2006, 7:12:57 AM UTC
You two definitely make a great team!
    • May 8, 2006, 9:15:32 AM UTC
Thanks, I'm glad you think so. Which of his drawings should I do next?
      • May 8, 2006, 10:11:41 PM UTC
        Fairy Cheescake!!
      • May 9, 2006, 12:48:27 PM UTC
Hmm - both "Vaergaes" and "Dragon" offer interesting possibilities for light, shadow, and effects...
        • May 9, 2006, 2:51:54 PM UTC
Those two pieces would be interesting colored but i'll have to check on it. Those two were comissioned drawings for Battle Axe games and although I am able to use those pieces for self promotion i'm not sure if I can have it colored and posted as theyn are no longer my property.
    • May 8, 2006, 10:12:46 PM UTC

      • May 9, 2006, 7:24:22 AM UTC
I'm the same way with my cousin. I keep badgering her to get an account here, but she's got to fix her scanner problems, first. Slant
    • May 8, 2006, 10:14:09 PM UTC

      • May 7, 2006, 11:27:36 PM UTC
Smile I'm worth it! I think... I'm not as cool as Dennis when it comes to art style but if you have the time I'd love one coloured ^^
        • May 7, 2006, 11:40:44 PM UTC
Ok, first ones free!!! but its gotta inspire me.

"I'm ya Momma, I'm your Daddy. I'm that Artist in the Alley. I'm your Pusher"
          • May 8, 2006, 1:46:19 AM UTC
            Errr- What inspires you then?
            • May 8, 2006, 9:05:21 AM UTC
Thats hard to say allot of things do. I like when things look fluid not stiff. If that makes any sence. In other words it looks natural. But Hey, email me something you'd like me to color and we can talk.
              • May 8, 2006, 11:03:25 PM UTC
Ehhhh... Sad I'm all worked up now cause I don't know which one you'd like- most of mine are romance type pics, and I wouldn't have a clue if I'm considered fluid in my style...

                This one is a little old, but I haven't gotten around to colouring it yet, though I'd love it to be. You probably wont want to do it, but that's cool. If you do, I'll e-mail that ^^;

                • May 8, 2006, 11:36:09 PM UTC
Thats Nice. What i mean By fluid is some peices of art look over worked or posed. I can Color it buts a different style of color than I do Den's. This one look pretty good in The Dave Steven's Pin up style. If thats cool send it over.
                  • May 9, 2006, 12:06:00 AM UTC
                    ... Huh? Dave Steven's pin uip style? Do tell me what that is ^^;
                    • May 9, 2006, 12:13:16 AM UTC

                          • May 9, 2006, 12:39:07 AM UTC
Errr- He made it awefully hard to look at his site Sad Then again, he looks popular, so I'm guessing that's why. In any case, if you can do his style then it's all good ^^
        • May 8, 2006, 10:22:54 PM UTC
Believe you me after what i've been through I am anything but cool. Although I like to think of myself as unique.
