One Hero...

Posted Jun 25, 2006, 2:24:39 AM UTC

Stippling truely is the bane of my exsistance.  -_-; And there's hardly any there, man.  Oi, vey.  Anyway, this is based off of a really old Sega game called Shining Force.  I love it to death, and if anyone else has played and love it, whoo! Also, from what I've gathered, the main character doesn't really die for real in the game(...but hey, I haven't beaten yet.  So, anything's possible.)  But anywho, this was just a touching moment thing that I felt like drawing.  I may just write a fanfic because of this drawing, too.

ONE MORE TING!  This is what it says on mah papah:

In ages long forgotten...

...Horrible things were in the making...

And one man, aided by allies and friends he made on his journey put a stop to it.

The man became a great hero, and was loved and respected by everyone who knew him, especially by his companions.

However...

...All good things must come to an end.

One fateful day, something terrible happened.  The enemy returned, more fierce and powerful than ever...

...As expected, the great hero and his powerful group of fighters rose to the challenge with faith and light in their hearts.

But then...

...he was killed in battle...

...and in that instant, he and his compainions...

...became even greater.

Now I want to play it. Sad

And I must admit, the stippling is my favorite part. I think it looks so nice!

Everyone looks very grieved. You're very good at conveying emotions. Big Smile

Lawl, that guy has a mustache. :B

Oh yes, I definitely like the stippling! It's a very nice effect.

I've been playing a lot of SNES and Sega Genesis (mostly Sailor Moon on SNES and Ronald McDonald on Sega Genesis, ha-ha). I love retro!

[Edit: And you're welcome! Heart ]

Well, it was my first real attempt at stippling, so I'm glad it appealed to the audience. ^.^ Whoo! Go Snickers!

            Snickers ftw!! Big Smile

And I have to say, every time I see the title, I just want to yell, "...TO RULE THEM ALL."

            Giggle

Oh shizzle, I havent played this game in so long. I did beat it though eventually. It was annoying at first but then I got the hang of it. Paticulary the places I could visit and battles with amazing. I like how you tried to show grief in each character and made it scroll down like it was some epic comic. ^_^

FINALLY!! Someone else who's played! Whee! I knew I loved you for some reason. Hug But yeah, I really like the way that came out, too. I'm glad that I'm not the only one. Big Smile

Ai Ai! I wanna know more! Is this game for Sega Genesis? It looks fun! I like your chibi's, tho' the one in the center looks like he's about to puke...
    • Jun 28, 2006, 5:38:39 PM UTC
Yes, it's for Sega Genesis. And the one that looks like he's about to puke (his name is Hans. ^^)...it's supposed to be immense shock. After all, his leader died. How would you feel if one of your greatest companions was killed in battle? What? Not a good feeling, meh?
