My First "Lolita"

This is my first "Lolita" drawing, though it doesn't really follow the beautiful standards Lolita has. I drew it back when I had only seen one Lolitaesque thing, and it was a silver dress.

So not Lolita.

Still, I'm glad I found it in my search for ravewear that day on eBay.

(Drawn when I was thirteen. I definitely like this more than anything I've done recently.)

  I don't want to sound full of myself, but I really don't think I have talent. @__@ Talented people take to drawing like a duck to water and advance easily. I may be skilled in some ways due to experience, but I definitely don't think I'm talented.
  
  And yes, I am self-taught (though I think you picked up on that earlier). I'm sorry that makes me so unknowing about arty things! I am trying, though! I have gone to private school for basically all of my life, and that means I've never been in a school resourceful enough to have art classes.
  
  ...Except in sixth grade, when I didn't turn in any of my projects.
  
  ......And except last year, when my sister and I taught an art class that quickly failed.
  
  Oh well. XD

  I understand the talent thing.
  People tell me that I'm talented and I always say stuff like, "Uh, not really."
  or "I could definitley be better!"
  It usually throws people for a loop! Haha!

  When I read this, I tried many times to draw Mana for you. :x Unfortunately, none of the attempts worked out: when I tried it in realism, it was...obvious that I didn't know how to draw realism. XD When I tried it in my style, it looked nothing like him. Sad panda!

  Ps. I bet you would be able to find more Mana fans if you looked hard enough. X3 I usually can't get away from them!

  I see. Well thanks for trying. I guess I could draw him and see if anyone recognizes. You've been on DA before coming here right? I see alot of jrock fanart over there, but here there is so little. I hope there will be more in the future.
