Angelic Lolita

I drew this when I was fourteen, and it's still my favorite drawing I've ever done.

It makes me sad to look at it and see how far I haven't come.

(Sorry about the darkness/messiness of the picture.)

Thank you so much! You really are so sweet to me!

This picture is mostly something that I spent a lot of time on, just to have a megadrawing. :B Underneith the details, it isn't much. Trust me on this!

I don't mean to sound conceited, but if you ever think I could help you out, just let me know. I'd be more than eager to tell you anything I know! Big Smile

        You're very welcome. Smile

Oh, don't feel conceited! That's the reason I didn't ask for help in the first place! Gosh, give me any tips on anything! I would love the help! Whee! Heart

Alright. Question 1. How do you get your characters so skinnya and normal-looking? Mine always wind up...kind of chunky, and distorted-looking. Everything winds up kind of angled.

I think your characters are sized well! In my drawings, this one in particular, my characters are usually far too skinny. Still, I guess...I try to start out with a design I know is too thin and add to her to make her thicker. Maybe that would help you too?

Eh, maybe. I don't like the short and chunky look, though. Well, it's okay, but I'd prefer drawing too-skinny people. Because...I'm weird. xD
