The Falconer

Posted Sep 26, 2006, 9:02:33 PM
One day I just had the idea to draw a falconer. I liked how it seems like a sorta antiquated practice. l'm happy with how it came out, except his face is maybe still off a little. :slant:

Hope you like it.

Oh I think it turned out great. I just don't know if your scanner her something to do with this, but I'd like to see some more contrast to be honest. Still, I think you handled it pretty well.

Thanks for the compliment. Smile This version has the contrast up a bit, but it's still too light, so I'm gonna go back and darken some of the values.

Thank you so much, I'm happy you like it. Grin I'm really glad the horse came out like it did, 'cause this was pretty much the first time I've drawn one.

From what I can see, it looks fantastic! But you may have to get hold of a better scanner and rescan and submit it. At this point in time, the visual quality is very low and we can't make out all those oh-so-important finer details that really make a sketch picture.
Amazing work though. Sort of reminds me of Wander and Agro from the "Shadow of the Colossus" game Tongue
