It had been raining for two weeks straight, the sea level started to raise as your town started to evacuate the lower levels that were closer to the water compared to the houses on the hills. Even though your town was rather saddened by the sight they experienced something completely unusual. An aqrion of big size started to grow vines around the town, blocking off the water so your kind would survive longer.
