Hatching the sky was a cute and distinct way to distinguish the cat from the background elements, its enjoyable! I also like the different layers of color in the sky, it feels like something between clouds and an aurora borealis, the later of the two I'm sure was unintentional but still is what I'm picking up (not that it's a bad thing at all). The choice of subjects here is thought provoking, a cat, a jewel, and an orchid... The palette is nice, the aqua goes surprisingly well with the purple thanks to those blues and golds!
