Trippy, that's an interesting way to look at the character. I'm not familiar with megaman, but its thought provoking none-the-less.

This was loosely based off of an old CG render of megaman > https://i.redd.it/ujusm9042cc11.jpg but other than that I invite you to find your own meanings from my art.

In that case, I'll leave some thoughts here in case they interest you Smile
There's a lot of mechanical portions to the piece, as well as organic ones. For the motherboard patterns in the cranium and sealing hatch door in the chest, there are biological ones nearby, be it the frame of the door creating the second eye or the tree like branching of the heart. Similarly, the head in of itself provides an interesting parallelism, a welcome mat lays in the space of the mouth where the tongue would reside, yet the eye (the window to the soul) is a closed door, one likely locked at that seeing how there is no knob, just a key hole.

oh that's a very interesting interpretation! i definitely did intend for the eye to be a gateway into his soul. however the door, even though it has no knob, is slightly open regardless-which only creates the illusion that it is truly locked.

I was just drawing from the phrase about eyes and windows, a door felt close enough that I felt it woked. I didn't realize it was a bit open, I interpreted that space as a recessed door jam. That's a soft little detail.
