And what an interesting story it must be. You must really love what you do. Your pieces are chock-full of emotion and they really get your audience thinking. Believe it or not, but my favorite character in this picture is the sword. If you think about it, that is what killed the woman... not the guy. He just helped it along a little bit. I love the engraving on the sword. Is it just symbols or some kind of language? Kind of like Tolkien's work? Are these characters from your RPG again? They are very well thought of. I love the way you depict them.

Thank you for another great comment. I'm currently workin on a redraw on this which is going to have a lot more detail since this is over 10 years old. The runes say " forgive me my love but at least your war is over". Originaly Roth was from the RPG I play but has since kinda taken a life of his own. Thus the graphic novel.

I was just curious if this RPG is one you and your friends made up yourselves or is it one that already exists like Dungeons and Dragons? I've never played one before. It sounds like so much fun, though. I've never had anyone around me that's been into the same kind of things as I am... except for my niece lately. I think I love that sword even more now that I know there's a meaning encrypted on it's blade. That's just intriguing.

Oh! i'm suprised I never mentined it! I'm an avid Dungeons & Dragons player. I DM a group of like minded players between the ages of 18 to 37. It's quite a diverse group but I like the mix. We only play the 2nd edition version though as we didn't like the conglomerate business feel of the game when TSR had sold the rights to Wizards of the Coast. That and we hate the d20 system rules.

Does DM mean dungeon master? I really don't know. I'm completely clue-less with that stuff. I always wanted to play a RPG like that, but, alas, I was never able to for lack of fellow players. It sounds like so much fun. I'm glad you guys have a blast. What's it like?

DM does mean dungeon master. It's a shame that you've never played as I think you'd like it.

Yay! I really was right? I can't believe it. I think I would like to play. I just have no friends interested in that kind of stuff. I guess it would be a way for me to meet new people. Do they have classes for beginners? lol I'm such an amateur when it comes to this stuff.

I think you would like it. If you can't find a gaming group I have an option you may want to try. Over the years I have had players move away or vice versa. Well with the aid of technology, these friends and I are attempting to start a D&D game online. Unlike everquest and such this will be as close to the actual, sit down book, game as possible. We're going to be using webcams and play that way. I got the idea during a board meeting at work and we had to use webcams to talk to the shareholders. This is just something to keep in mind.

That would be awesome! I have a web-cam! I just have to figure out how exactly to use it. I've been using it as my digital camera, heh, heh. I'm going to try to make a web page. If and when I get it done (I am so computer illiterate) I will let you know so you can visit it there.

That would be cool! Let me know when you have it up and running. As for me my friend is still trying to hook up my webcam.

Oh, any time I actually get off my duff and plug it into the computer! *laughs* It's pretty simple to figure out. I just don't get on the web cam too much because of the weird "digital" effect. It makes me dizzy. I think I'd be able to handle the dizziness for something as cool as a RPG though. That's what dramamine is for, right?
