Yeah but all of a sudden, I feel like confessing for my sins... *laughs* This one looks familiar. Was it at your elfwood site? I love the subtle glow on his face from the flames. Another marvelous job. But I'm sure you knew that already. *winks* Nono... don't be modest.

Ah... I see. How long did this one take you to complete?
      • Jun 23, 2005, 1:17:22 AM UTC
Not long at all actualy about 30 to 40 minutes, but then again I did use a comicbook as reference. I was inspired after I read this amazing comic which for the life of me I can't remember the title!

You'll probably remember it as you're falling asleep or something. That always happens to me. I can't believe this only took you less than an hour. It usually takes me hours to do a decent looking pencil drawing. The Vlad one I did took me 4 days to complete. But that's because I am so anal retentive about getting things right. Which brings me to an idea I had. You are the only person I know that is capable of rendering an amazing looking warrior. And, you know, Vlad was a fierce warrior in his time. Maybe you could draw him as a warrior. That is how I'd like to remember him. It's just an idea. You are a very busy man.

Sorry, but although I wish I could draw Vlad for you now, i'll have to put it on the backburner of things I plan to do when I have some free time. As it is i'll be lucky to have your niece's knight done soon.
I will draw it for you though since your such a big Dracula buff I just don't know when. Besides it's going to take some time to draw anyways as I have to look up what Rumanian armor looked like. So give it some time and i'll definately inform you when I start.

It's okay, hun. I knew you would never be able to get around to it any time soon. You have alot on your plate right now with your book and your commissions and all. When that time comes, though, I have tons of pictures of him and what his armor may have looked like. My niece is away at camp right now anyway. She is working on some very good pictures though. I must say, her skill is improving with each day.

                Thanks for understanding.
At camp! That's great, I used to love to camp when I was her age and I still do when I get the chance. I can't wait to see what she posts when she gets back.

I loved it too. I had so much fun there. Plus I found a rabbit skull. I thought I was the coolest kid in the world to be carrying a skull in my pocket. Now I realize it was just plain creepy. I can't wait to see the finished products either. Though I don't know how much time she'll have to work on them being at camp and all.

In your pocket! That sounds cool if you actualy think about it.
