I have to agree with the one that pointed out the belt. <3 It is very pretty. I love the overall sense of depth to this piece.

Thank you!!!!! I haven't recieved near the comments I though I would on this! The other one of TP Link I made, "link looking cool" didn't look half as good, and I got 3 fav's. Oh well. I appreciate the comment!

You're welcome. <3 Ah, yes, that is most disappointing. I hate getting a ton of comments and favorites on effortless sketches, and then getting nothing on stuff with hours of work put into it. It's disheartening, really. (Like this one time, I had a couple five-minute pen-doodled chibis as a preview image, and the real drawing was one of the VERY few pieces I've ever done with a complete background, and someone just had to go say they liked the chibis more. ._. Eheh, I ramble.) Personally, I like this one more. I think the eyes look nicer in the other one, but this one has more to it--more detail, more depth. Eh. People like what they like. *shrug*

Well said, and I feel the same way. Just like your's with the background, this is one of the few i've done with this much detail, with this kind of focused shading in select locations. The other one was one I did in math class.

I think of all the things I've ever posted online (some 300 somethings, I think) less than ten-possibly even less than five--had backgrounds. So it hurt considerably.
Someone did mention that if people are commenting on and favoriting the stuff you feel is worse, then what you favor must be something real special--even if it hasn't gotten much feedback yet. Keeping that in mind may not make things all better, but it most certainly is encouraging~ It's better to be thankful for the positive and helpful comments and criticism we get then complain because of what we got it on, right?

Right. At any rate, even if we didn't recieve comments on those we like best, it's better that we got the comments at all. It's the basis of thankfulness... Thanks.
