It was- I read both, and the level of trippy it has turned to since the end of the anime with the manga is phenomenal. It's a good thing they stopped though, cause they wouldn't be able to truncate this later stuff- it's too juicy

I'm a manga girl myself. I liked the anime, but the manga is so much better.
I think Archer turned up briefly in the manga.. but it's mainly Kimbley right now.
