*grin* Yes, I totally agree with your crit. I tried fixing it in Photoshop, but short of literally redrawing the missing pieces, I can't seem to make that section work. Sad

Thank you so much for the comment! Heart And yes, it has been a long time waiting, especially since I didn't post any more WIPs on PD (I'm trying to go for just finished works here, for my new drawings). But at least I finished it eventually, right? Laughing

Haha, Photoshop had never had much mercy on traditional works. It usually 'delete' some part of the lighter lines...

Just curious, when you scan with a scanner, does your scanner "suck" away the color/shading of the piece and that you have to re-edit a lot of things in Photoshop?

Yes, there haven't been any WIPs from you for awhile, and it's still good to see that you have finished the piece in the end Wink

I wouldn't say I have to re-edit a -lot- of things, but I do always have to tweak my drawings. I've never had something scan just right - more frequently they scan so there's no way I can fix them up to their original splendor. ( Splendor, indeed!) But really, scanners, while infinitely useful, are not great at putting the original message to screen. Not unless you're willing to spend way more money than I currently have available, anyway.

Haha, I see. I've always just been wondering how some of the traditional artists manage to put what seems like the original colors onto the computer. But so far, I haven't heard anyone being satisfied with their scanners before. Wink
