Interesting uniform they have, it looks like they're hooked up to something- is that a life support mechanic, or am I reading into things a bit much? :')

I guess i was thinking some sort of mind control to the ship . I work rotating 12 hr shifts and keep a small sketchbook in my lunchkit in case it is slow at work so I drew this at 3 am who knows :
