Are they stiff enough that they don't give much if she bumps into something? Cartilage is soft enough that it wouldn't hurt too much, I don't think...

No, not stiff, I suppose I would describe velmuht ears more like rabbits with the lop ears, they just lack the muscles to move them? Muidemi can lay on her ears just like we can, but she can't 'control' them, prick them up etc. any more than we can move ours...if that makes any sense lol. That just means I won't be using them to help describe her emotions in my images 😅
