Thank you The tails I wanted to fit in place of wings, so when they uncurl they have that appearance of wings but unfortunately aren't enough to allow them to fly. And for them to become fallen I wanted them to be similar enough that a transition from one to the other is plausible-- like a mutation.
I do love to still draw them as the traditional way but figured it'd be a neat challenge to image them in a sci-fi setting instead, and how that'd work out.
