Hidden for years in an ancient treasure hoard no one knows how old the inventory egg is. It was discovered by a young explorer and gifted to the local chieftain who in turn handed the curiosity down to his daughter. Having Laid in the dark and cold so long it was thought it couldn't possibly hatch. Everyone knew abandoned eggs need carefully looking after to stay viable. It was simply thought of as an artefact of ancient times. A symbol of the long-standing companionship between man and dragon. But as the egg warmed and was exposed to the sun for the first time in centuries strange things started to happen. Sometimes the egg seemed to move by itself, other times the shape seemed to warp. This led to the egg being deemed cursed. Many tried to convince the chieftain's daughter to destroy the cursed egg. But against their advice she kept it, claiming all people saw was tricks of the light. That was until faint scratching started to come from inside ...
