Starboard is about two thirds the size of Port, lacks many of his most distinctive features, and is twice as quiet on their capers. And yet, this stryx seems convinced that the two are indistinguishable, often attempting to stick Port with their own duties. Starboard also seems to mastermind their more devious tricks and thefts, with a keen eye and a heart that longs for the collection of very shiny trinkets.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the two corvas, Starboard was long assumed to be Port's more intelligent brother simply through lack of close examination. The striking similarities between the two in both motivation and appearance carried on this notion until Starboard unexpectedly turned up with a clutch of eggs one season, much to the surprise of the rookery. With a lot of struggle and some more thorough researching of their background, it turned out that they were entirely unrelated and Starboard was allowed to brood the clutch in peace.

Even so, it has been fairly impossible to shake the old monikers, and the duo are still often referred to as brothers in mischief and troublesome lads. They have taken up with a ragtag band of pirates, though even the other stryx of this flock seem to tire of their antics.
