Background: Busa comes from an unfortunate past, taken from her parents at a young age and brought up as an illegal stryx fighter. Despite the arena being a widely enjoyed sporting event, some believe the fights are "too tame" and "cowardly." These types of characters can often be found in The Underground, a huge black market-type cavern system beneath a large city, where you can find illegal goods, services, and yes, stryx fighting. These stryx fights are far more dangerous and high-stakes than arena fights. Many stryx are trained up for deadly battles with their opponents, often with risk of death or severe injury, unlike the legal arena battles, which are only for good fun and never meant to seriously harm a stryx. These illegal battles are often bet on, and despite corruption being a rather rare condition in most stryx (although cases have been on the rise in the past few years) it runs rampant in most illegal fighters. The handlers and trainers, most working in The Underground already, have their connections to find these corrupted crystal shards, often for the purpose of infecting a stryx.

Busa was one of the fortunate ones lucky enough not to be infected by the corruption, but was at high risk for as long as she remained in The Underground. She was often tasked with no more than training up the new recruits, since she was so thin and frail at the time, she'd be of no use in a real battle. She's since filled out quite a bit, becoming a lithe and maneuverable hunter since being liberated from The Underground.

Personality: She's strong-willed, confident, and cunning. Busa knows the difference between right and wrong quite well, which is a miracle considering her origins. She refuses to let anyone get away with injustice to another, often using her wits to work her way through a sticky situation rather than her lacking physical strength. She aspires to become a racer one day, but has little to no information she needs to apply, most of it having been destroyed by those who'd used her in The Underground in order to keep her off the map and protect themselves from being discovered and arrested. Despite this, she still works on her racing skills and abilities, hoping one day she'll be able to make use of them.
