Time to Rest

It's a busy time of year! To give our admin team time to travel, spend time with

friends & family, and catch up on some much needed rest we will soft close the group

from now through the first week of the new year. With the exception of Design, no queues

will OFFICIALLY close, but admins are nor required to work during this time. Queues will likely be slow, please do not ping us about it as we're all on a soft break.

We will reopen Sunday, January. 8th 2023.

Nov 28, 2022 - AI Art + Norppa Classification

We've been busy busy busy behind the scenes wrapping up the Great Harvest (thank you all so much for your participation!) and readying for the Festival of Frost in January! Today we have a few housekeeping items to announce...

AI Art

We have never allowed people to upload other people's art as their own, and we've clarified in our group rules that art created in part or in whole by artificial intelligence is not allowed to be submitted to the group. Paperdemon also does not allow AI art to be submitted to the platform. We'll be investigating protections we can offer to prevent AI systems from skimming off of PaperDemon for images, but we're currently a very little website and it's unlikely to be a major risk here, unlike DeviantART. We will keep you all updated on any further developments.

Uh oh, Micro...

After further investigation, the Norppa is not a microstryx, it is an offshoot species of waddles! If you've already started to design one, you have until Monday, December 5th to submit it as a custom companion. After that, we'll be pulling the lines. We'll look at custom companion lines again when we tackle our planned companion revamp.

But what exactly prompted this investigation? Have we found out new information about microstryx? That's for us to know and you to.... collect baubles for. :3c

Nov 7, 2022 - Great Harvest Update

Hey guys!

We have talked about the deadlines of everything and well we came up with a solution and that we are making it even more laid back event. It will also make up for all of the confusion with the event as well. So that if you missed a week now is your chance to make up for it. We came up with you can only have 5 entries max for each for the pumpkin & wisp (to cover the 5 weeks they were originally set for), max 1 entry for the main event. So everything will be due by 11:59pm on Nov 12th. So make sure that you upload and submit them to the "Step 1 Events Art Judging Queue" by the deadline stated.

Don't forget to enter the pumpkin point raffle and design the mystery stryx to enter that raffle as well.

Oct 29, 2022 - A Big Update!

We are proud to announce that we are done with organizing our queues and adding in guides on the DracoStryx Landing page on PD. We have ported over the majority dA journals onto PD.
We have made some exciting changes to some queues. PD has introduced text queues! We have replaces some queues that were run on either a blog and a forum. The following redemption queues has been changed:

Lockets
Loft Drop off & Wild Release
Offsite-Art
Offsite-Trackers
Quests & Side Quests
Training & Tributes

We have added Side Quests to the Quests to the same queue so you can redeem them there so that everything is in the same place and it will be easier to keep track for everyone. By popular demand by Admins and Players, we have separated the Tributes & Training from the Activity Art Judging Queue. Other queues might change in the feature with further PD user interface changes. It will improve the game play greatly.

Don't fret! We will go through the old queues before we start on the new ones.

We have also added separate timed event queues for the rest of the Great Harvest Event! The times however will be shown in UCT but they will be set as if was in the normal "PST times", so when that timer runs out the queues will be closed at the appropriate times. Please make sure that you submit into the correct queue!
