It is time! The Big AP and Redemption Update is here!

We are happy to announce that we are finished with restructuring AP/Redemption systems! We are very excited to show you guys these changes. One of the major changes is that once you submit your entry to the appropriate queue, not only will it be counted but it will be rolled as well! Hopefully this process will streamline things to make things go a bit faster. With that in mind please be patient with us as we figure out the kinks along the way. 

All of the queues have been caught up on so when you submit please make sure you are adding in the character points as well as taking the chance to slow down when filling out the forms in the queues. Any trackers submitted to the offsite trackers will have to have the uncounted AP updated before we process them.

  • We have organized it to be similar to what we had on devaintART so that you guys can find stuff better. If there is something that you cannot find and that we have missed, please ask us in #suggestions thread in our discord chat

• How to Submit to the PD queues Guide

  • We have updated this guide as well, since there are several ways that you can submit to the queues. Of course if you have questions please reach out!

• NEW Quick AP Reference guide.

  • We have merged all of the AP guides into one page so that it is all in one place and you aren’t flipping through multiple links. This has basically replaced this guide.

  • Below are some major changes that we did for the AP counts (if you are new here AP means Ascension Points)

    • Going forward we are accepting greyscale and one color images. As long as the stryx still has their markings and looks like their import they will qualify for AP.

• Added new Flat Rate option which gives a flat AP rate of 28 per entry that follows the activity and event rules. So the idea is to cut down a bit of time on admin counting and to get your items faster! However you are welcome to still list out all of the bonuses if you want more AP per your image. However, if you miss one we won’t automatically give it to you. You can submit it for a correction but if you have submitted for a flat rate instead of counting out all of the AP the flat rate is locked in and you cannot submit a request to get it recounted for all of the AP bonuses later.

• Backgrounds are now +14 AP

  • The regular background, biorhythm bonuses, and seasonal have all been merged into one. This will allow more freedom for your backgrounds! 

  • We also have a stand alone background guide that breaks down everything if you are having trouble.

• Full body (line art, color, and shading) all got a boost of +7AP each

• Literature has gotten a buff to match visual AP a bit better. It is now 3AP per 100 words. 

  • The minimum AP that will qualify for AP is 300 words

• Buddy Bonus +4

  • This is extra stryx, flockmate, other stryx, Rider/Handler, and other arpg. We have merged them all together and changed how that works so please read it in the guide.

• Average and Complex animation has been merged since it was hard to judge. It's now called Nonsimple animation. Their AP amounts have been changed as well. 

• Sculpture has also been updated to include anything that is 3D that can be clay sculptures, plushies, fursuits, and 3D digital sculpts,and  ect.

• Tributes, Basic & Blind Training, Careers, and other queues that require multiple entries to get things redeemed have changed as well! Do get those processed please follow the link in the queue to where you can fill out the forms there and go from there. 

We have made a how to submit to corrections guide and what to put in the form area since this was never written down somewhere. So hopefully this will help for any confusion going forward.

But what about the stuff that has already been counted but not rolled?

We will announce when we have worked on a queue for this so please keep a look out for the next news post that will mention it!
