Most people that know me know that 1) my line art is crap and 2) my hands shake so a straight smooth line is like a distant dream. ;; That and my friends also know I never usually post sketches or line art. ~grimrippy, back in yonder day, showed me how to use OpenCanvas and how to outline my work in there. Funny thing is, no matter how much I tried to do it in Photoshop, I just couldn't get it. So I was roving about dA when I happened upon *bibly's tutorial of how to ink in PS. So taking what I already knew from Aya and then reading the tut, I came out with the best lines I've ever done. Ever. And in an HOUR. o3o

This is not up for coloring, so don't try it and don't ask. I'll be getting to it eventually I hope before school starts up again next week. Anyway, yes. Lines. Mmm~

It came out beautifully. Nice, clean lines and she's very pretty.

It's pretty nice, and don't worry about your shaking hands... I have the same trouble, so I use Manga Studio for inking.

Wow... and the body is very well defined... if you say your linearts are crap then don't look at mine XD they're worse.

    Cheers!!

hey, at least you can do comp. generated art. all mine is completely traditional. that fact makes it reaaally hard to share it online. I'd love to learn comp. art, but I lack the materials and a teacher. anyway I think your art is wonderful. and there is a style of inking where all the lines are blatantly shakey. they're meant to convey a general shape, not fine details. I used to use it before. a great alternative to computers if you want. wow that was long.

      Thank you~
Yeah, my normal style of inking something is more sketchy, but I was going for the smoother outline look with this one. It was kinda of practice to see if I could actually steady my hand XD

you did very well. I can't see any imperfections in the line work.
