Thrusday night I turned in my Watercolor portfolio for review, and went, "Hey, I haven't posted some of these." There were at least six pieces I really thought were good but after re-reviewing them myself, I only wanted to post two of my best. This being one of them.

This is painting of our former model, Ranita. She unfortunately moved away, and we have different female models now to take her place. She was such a wonderful person to draw and she was very nice. And yes, her hair was indeed that pretty peacock blue! XD One week we saw her, her hair was its natural dark brown color, that next week it was bright blue. Really she is an awesome person~ Her last day with us she gave me her email address as I promised her I'd send her a print of this piece for her because she liked it so much. <3 I was really touched when she came over and told me how much she loved it during our 10 minute break.

I know some areas are a little overworked and that the feet could use more definition, but overall, it is one of the best pieces in my Watercolor portfolio.
