So one of the things that has been bothering me since I started using Krita was the brush rendering didn’t quite look right. You might have noticed in the last few pieces I made with PS some years ago, the blending looked smoother. This thread explains the difference. That’s just the way Krita’s brushes work. If you want something nice and smooth, you’re welcome to try the color smudge brush. In my experience, I tend to find it’s faster than the regular PS smudge tool at larger sizes (I have no idea how good it is in CS6; I only had CS5) and it’s much better at blending. I used the color smudge brush for the rendering in this picture and you can really see the difference. I’m very satisfied with the results.
