I'm a 23 year old girl currently studying Comparative Literature, Folklore Studies, Art History and Latin Philology at a local University. My passion lies in art and words. I'm hoping to be able to study art at some point, maybe after finishing my BA. My usual freetime activities include writing, drawing, comicking, knitting, reading, watching anime and movies and cuddling with my kitty (she's not the cuddly type so it's hard work^^).
I'm around at many places at the Net, including y! and AFF.net. I've also been dabbling around over at dev by the name of jeleyn. I'm bound to put some stuff up here that's up over there too. So I'm not ripping myself off. I'm basically a dA refugee. My art's not that explicit but I felt that the community was a bit too big for me since I've hardly gotten any critique or comments on my work there. So I came here.
As for my art, lately I seem to be doing a lot of fanart, Inuyasha fanart predominantly... With Miroku in dresses. :wacko: There is clearly something very wrong with me. But I enjoy doing them so I'm not stopping any time soon.
Other than that, I do original stuff too. Lately mainly with my novel in the making (have a 50 K script in my hands that needs fattening up and polishing), Silver and Amber that is decidedly naughty in its execution. It focuses around the relationship between my main charas, Leyn and Kayrenn who are both...*gasp* men. So I'll be doing them quite a lot, especially Kayrenn in dresses. :angel:
My other original story is Before Dawn. It's my on/off again online comic project about vampires and love. The cast will crop up more often than not, especially now since I'm resurrecting it after almost a years worth of semi-hiatus time.
I also have other projects, like my other novel in the making /fantasy universe that I'll freely exploit and which has been in my head and on paper in different shapes and forms since I was 12. Then there's my other two comic projects Smudges of Life and False Perceptions both respectively shounen ai and odd. And also two others that are developing slowly.
And I still need to do some more HP fanart some day. And share what I already have.
Sorry for ranting, but that's me. I rant. Deal with it.
