About Me
Hi there!
The name's Wildtale, but I've also gone by the alias Swifty. I'm a traditional artist specializing in colored pencils, markers, chalk and oil pastes mediums and focusing on animals, landscapes, and still life subjects. Drawing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I took art classes for several years before moving on to using experimentation and observation to develop my style.
For several years, I was quite active in certain Art Role-Play Games (ARPGs). While it taught me how to cartoon and helped me speed up my work, it took over a good part of my portfolio, and my life, with giant bird-dragons among other creatures, and I eventually had to drop them almost entirely for my well being. Currently, I’m working towards returning to my artistic roots and developing my own worlds and creatures.
While I think of myself as a freelance artist and take commissions from time to time, I still consider drawing to be a hobby. My real passion is in agriculture and animal husbandry. I am working towards a degree in Sustainable Food and Farming, with the goal of becoming a permaculture farmers, as well as a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) associates for kicks. :3
