Greetings! My name is Maureen, and I'm a semi-professional artist. I love to draw, and I'm certainly not adverse to making money off of it, and I would love to see my work published at some point. My art has been heavily influenced by both manga and western comics, though I've been less enthralled with some of the manga aspects in my art of late.
At the moment, I'm working on a mythologically inspired comic, which will be available for sale at some point in the near-ish future. The progress of that comic can hypothetically be checked here, but I have a bad habit of not updating that. I will be posting preview art here as well.
After that comic is complete, I hope to begin a webcomic which I've been planning for years, many of the characters for which can be seen in my gallery.
Aside from being an artist, I'm also a student in Archaeology and Classical Studies, soon to be a graduate student working towards my Master's degree. When I disappear for long periods of time, it's almost certain that I'm working on something scholarly. Or digging around in the mud, which, given my choice area of study, is technically also scholarly.
