I have new arts up! X3 I hope you like them... One of my part-colored pics was a WIP, so it's under that... The other got finished, so yay!! A completely finished piece! XD yay me! Enjoy them!

In other news, I joined a gay-straight-lesbian alliance club called "Proud" at my college today. :3 It's a really fun group of people, though we don't have many members yet. I'm going to try and out/recruit as many people as I can. :3 Rainbows, attack!!! XD A lot of the gays/alternative lifestyle people in the school are afraid to come out, because there are a lot of very violent reactions by some anti-gays, but we're here to put a stop to that. One of the things we're planning to do is a day of silence for Glisten (a pride community), usually supported with tshirts and/or buttons as well. It represents the 365 days of the year that those of us who are out are forced to be silent about it. I'm gona wear black electrical tape over my mouth (it attracts more notice, therefore more curiosity, and therefore more conscern/support).... We have a lot of other stuff planned for the year, too! We're gonna have a gay prom, go to a GBLTQ Community College Conferense (supportive of ALL alternative lifestyles, I may have left out a letter...), march in a pride parade, and all kinds of stuff!!!! XD I'm so excited! *prances around*

Of course, I can't blab about this club to my mom, because she's uber bible-thumpy and would set my on fire if she knew I were gay. Seriously, she keeps trying to get me to marry her gay male freind. "He'll take care of you and support you, and you'll never want for anything!" She's very old-fashioned in that she thinks marriage= boy+girl, and that the man MUST support the woman. No matter how many times I tell her that I'M taking care of ME (and any children I have, until they can take care of themselves), and anyone I'm with will take care of THEMselves, and not depend on me. Everyone is happier that way, and it's easier to leave when the relationship doesn't work. Sadly, I can't pride out and prance around my house decked out in full rainbow garb, but I can atleast have a club and do it there! XD Ah, well... my mom will figure out I'm gay when I announce my engagement to a beautiful woman (once I get one :3).......................... yeah. PRIDE!!! XD *prance again*
