Shyest of Smiles

This is a piece I've been working at for a while- it would have been done sooner, but I was working on it when my game came out, so it got put on hold for almost a month, sadly. I finally got back to it a while ago and finished it! I poured a ton of effort into the pebbles and dirt, as a part of me trying to improve my backgrounds. I remember around a month ago I told you guys to expect more of this gal since I needed practice with her face shape, but I didn't realize how many of the sketches I made would come out well enough to flesh out- and I'm still not done! She is certainly by no means the least seen of my characters in my gallery now XD I intend to put up art of my other babs soon, really!

Art and character belong to me. Don't steal or repost, thanks.

Cute little fisherdragon. I hope they enjoy their meal. ^_^

She probably will, fish are (luckily!) her favorite~

What a lovely dragon! The body shape is quite unique and I enjoy the shimmering scales on'em also. And the effort put into the dirt and pebbles really paid off! It looks so pretty. I look forward to seeing more of your characters! :-)

Thanks! I put a lot of thought into her design, and have reworked it several times to get to to this point, though I try putting a lot of thought into all of my characters. I'm glad you enjoy my bab!

Your extra effort on the background really shows, especially on those pebbles! I really am loving the scales, too. It adds a lot of depth and shine to the picture.

Thank you! I'm trying to practice with how I show different scales, this bab in particular has some gloss to hers, since she's descendant from tropical areas Smile For some reason I really enjoy well drawn rocks, so they're something I've been focusing on.

Super neat. It's nice that you took the time to draw a background. The stones on the ground came out really well. I also like the shimmer on the wings and skin.

Thank you! It took a long time to get them all done, so I'm glad it shows. I have a friend who critiques my stuff, and his go to critique is lighting, so I tend to put a lot of focus onto it~
