This all sounds very positive, though I still have concerns that the site is not friendly to mobile users. Is there any word on when the site will be updated to be more accessible to people who use phones to get onto the site? I like that there's back end updates and all that, but this has been a concern for me for awhile and there really hasn't been much improvement on this front.

Yes all of the interfaces that will be redone will be more mobile friendly. This includes the forums, writing, comics, and the submissions pages.
Anything with a url that begins paperdemon.com/app is the new interface which is mobile friendly. If any of that isn't mobile friendly let us know.
