I'm so happy I can finally fav this gorgeous piece. I wasn't able to on y!gal.

I really love the detail of the armor and clothes. Their expressions were nicely done as well.

*purr* I voted for this piece when you entered that scholarship competition. Also saw it on y!, but I hardly ever comment on extras (I feel it gets lost in the throng).. But I must say it's just WONDERFUL to see it here. This painting is nothing short of amazing both artistically and emotionally. Congratulations on creating such excellent work.

WOW! This is nothing short of superb! Maybe I'm old-fashioned but I usually have some reservations about artwork created or modified through computer programs, but for this beauty I'm making an exception. FAVED IT!

What's so wrong about coloring things on the computer? Imagine how much it would cost to buy a good set of markers or pencils that could rival the quality or color selection of a simple program like Photoshop or GIMP. I'd say if it's far more cost efficient and you can use it, it shouldn't matter.

Hell I wish I had an intuitive tablet like the Cintiq so I could color things like I would with pencils but using the near endless selection of colors you could with a computer.

Undoubtedly, the end result is wonderful to behold and I agree that art materials are far more expensive in the long run than a computer program. I was just saying that I'm a little old-fashioned in my own choice of medium and I will still stick to hand-held brushes, pencils and the ilk. Ciao!

Oh, wow.. *_* The details on this are incredible. I love all the glittering specks along the armor and even on their faces. Such a lovely pose, too!
