Well- I've finally got my first non-comic semi-professional commission that I'm not getting paid for in cash *falls over* From what I gather, it's gonna be turned into a poster for the local comic convention http://www.pulpexpo.com/ for an event and will be printed in poster format.
Basically, I had to make a Flash character running to the side which is a cross of Flash and Max Mercury- Flash characters owned by DC comics- this was obviously so DC wont sue our buts for making money off their character ^^;
Talked to WildeKarde via AIM about it and he gave me a few ideas- in the end, I have been WAY too tired to think up something origanal, so I went for tried and true...
Currently- posting the base layer and first shading layer cause I'm going insane in the brain- my glasses are all dinged up and giving me head aches (please don't comfort me- I stood on them. It's my fault ^^; ) Gonna give it more shading and stuffs. Yeah. Time to exit and watch more Escaflowne....
Um- I'm not sure how I'm gonna do his symbol, so I'm leaving that for last :p

Looking at your art gave me an idea. What about rather than a symbol you give him SCallops like a vintage hot rod. If you don't know what that its like the flames they put on the hood but these are lines. Simular to the speed lines in manga. --- Procrastinate Later! words to live by. |

Fire is right up my alley! Heheh... As for him jogging- the pic had to be a 1:3 ratio. I COULDN'T make him look like he was running. Not side on like he wanted. I've e-mailed it to the guy though- if he has any problems, I'll just redraw it. Once I gave in to the jog, sketching it up wasn't a problem.
