This was the original comcept drawing for my Roth character. The idea for Roth hit me one day while I was walking the beach on a tropical island in the Pacific. As strange as that may sound, it's true!
wow he looks really darn scary and pissed off. I don't like the faces of the girls though. The placement and angles of their eyes and their small noses remind me of Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson?! LOL! I have to agree with you as i've never really liked how their faces turned out. I'm happy with the concept though but unfortunately nothing else about this pic.
That's awesome! I like his clothing alot; it looks kind of Scottish-meets-WWF-- in a very very good way!! ^_^ He doesn't look like a very happy fellow, and those women don't look very happy either.... but they're all so well drawn, and besides that, it makes me wanna know the story behind 'em! Great job!
The one thing that I love about all of your characters, Lloyd is that they all always look pissed off. They really look like they are having a bad day. I love how you put the other characters on here too. It just kind of balances things out on the page. What am I saying? I don't know. I need more coffee.
No your absolutely right. When I drew this I had this rather large empty space at the top of the page and to balance out the composition I decided to fill it with concept drawings of his wives. You've got good artist instincts.
wow he is a scary dude! Major hair thing goin' on!! lol I likes!! The girls are very pretty as well!! I love it nice work!! and...yay your posting othe art up!!!
Thanks Mallie, this was my first ever drawing of Roth. I'm not sure why but almost all of my expressions during this time were all very angry. Actualy I do know why but it's kinda personal.
