Save you

A peice I've been working on for a little over a week, mostly because I've had difficultly drawing a strait line due to the fact I've been on some heavy medications from the doctors (codine and morphine... weeeeee) and in just massive break down and start bawling pain...

SO finally finished this image! Me happy! I even managed a decent color job, though I could have done better I think.. Anyway, it's Jerico/Sessath and Meriah. I'm pretty sure this doesn't have to be in the red curtain (no parts seen) though the image itself is a touch more violent. These two have a very interesting love/hate relationship. Meriah's an electrical enginer and programer, she's basicly an IT person for a space ship. When doing some repairs to the ship's synth andriod Jerico, she found a ton of files and encrypted data that made no sense to her. WHY should a navigational synth have this sort of heavy data on it? So she started to remove files she was viewing as superflurious and unnessary for Jerico's job.

Unforchunately that woke up the REASON for all those firewalls. The base program Sessath was an alien tech program created for the human/koth war. His programing was to destroy humans, but during the course of things he became self aware and turned even on his own makers.

At the end of the war, unable to delete the program, but unwilling to totaly destroy it, Sessath was buried under a ton of programing and placed into the ship Hammerhead as their navigational program. Where he met his new Programmer Meriah. The two played chess alot, and developed a friendship.

In the world developed it was illegal for synths and humans to have relationships. So outside the friendship Meriah kept to herself. Jerico just watched her. When she woke up the Sessath program, it attempted to despose of the programer who woke him, and presumably put him back to sleep. Jerico still within the programing reacted to protect her, which was part of his own programming, but also because of Sessath's self awareness, Jerico wished to protect the person he loved. As well as the crew of the hammerhead.

Meriah lost an arm in the fight. Nearly lost her own life as well, but she came to understand a portion of what was going on as well. Because of the sitchuation though there was little she was able to do. Sessath/Jerico's first Synth form was destroyed, btu a backup was onboard and using that he left the ship to go restart his war, and protect the crew by not being there and thus not running into any logic comflicts in his programming.

The two still meet and seem to almost preform this weird sort of half dance of unannounced emotions and attempts to destroy/rescue eachother....

So the title of the image fits with them both...

"I only ever wanted to save you."

I know there are a couple errors in coloring, and the drawing itself *jerico's arm is giving me grief* but overall I'm pleased with this image but would not mind a few helpful crits to tell me where i can improve.
