The Creation

Look, new OCs! New setting! New everything!

First, there's Luce. He's the dark-haired fellow, and he's an alchemist. He is also ridiculously inept at/uncomfortable with dealing with people, and has what any modern realism sort would probably describe as "some crazy OCD and shit". So he lives like a hermit up in the mountains, and only interacts with people when he's forced to, when he has to go into town for supplies and food and such. The townspeople are generally sort of scared-slash-distrusting of him, which he's fine with; it keeps them out of his hair.

His latest pet project has been very adventurous: a thinking, intelligent golem. This is a clay-based being brought to life by alchemy, and this is the first one he's made with this level of thought processing. Sure, it's still bound to him and will obey any command he gives - as well as trying to anticipate the ones he doesn't - but overall it's quite a smart creature. He's named it Amir, and its purpose is to serve as an assistant, helping him in his workshop, making those supply runs for him, things like that.

Still. It's the closest Luce has come in a long time to living with another person. He's used to talking to himself up there; he's not used to having something around that can talk back. Should be an interesting experience, I'd say.

First of all, the story behind this piece is really nice, and I'd love to see a fiction work of it, just to know what happens Wink

The line art is great, and so is the shading.
I'm a real amateur when it comes to drawing, so that's why I really appreciate when others have the gift.

The blond's face is really nice, I like how expressionless it is.
Luce, on the other hand, has a face of what I'd call excitement and perhaps a little pride.
    I like it.

The hand upon the blond's face is great.
It can be there for so many reasons, keeping his face in place so he can take a better look, at the same time it's gentle.

I really like this piece! Big Smile

I think it's always an experience when you're antisocial and suddenly in the company of someone.
