Holiday Hero

These are Billy (brunette) and Julian from a story of a friend and me.

They are a couple for several years and the relationship is stuck in a dead end. Both are frustrated but not able to communicate. Julian, a male nurse, is sick and tired of having to fight for acceptance from Billy's wealthy family while Billy feels neglected due to Julian's stressful work and also can't get rid of the feeling of having to apologize for being rich.
They nearly break up but decide to give themselves a last chance. Holidays on "Sky Island", an artificial island near the coast of Japan are supposed to bring them together again - with Billy hiding the fact that he cheated on his boyfriend some months ago.
While being in a bus on the long bridge towards the island, about a mile away, Sky City is struck by an earthquake of eight on the Richter scale.
When Billy awakens again the whole island, home, working place and also a holiday resort for over 3000 people, lies in ruins. Being able to save himself and Julian from the bus which is about to fall into the sea they find themselves on the remains of a nearly collapsing bridge which only is the first of many dangers ahead.
Trying to fight their own problems which threaten to destroy their love the two men try to make their way to the evacuation point, a huge park in the city.

The story was inspired by the awesome PS2 game "SOS - The Final Escape" which I played back then... we didn't go on with this story since early 2009 ^^*
The title of the pic goes back to the shirt Billy is wearing. You cannot see it here but it reads "Holiday Hero" on the front, rather ironical considering the situation *lol*
