Not a bad effort for someone that's still getting use to it Texture in the hair is good, but it's best to use long lines from the root to the tip with hair. I think you've got that in other pictures though so this may be an older picture Otherwise, you're far more tolerant than me fore the program XD *traditional artist forever*
it is an older picture sometimes I wonder about by my tolerance with new programs but its been so long since i have really used traditional that when I try I'm always looking for the undo button XD
Lol- no undo button with traditional art You just learn to hide it or just not do it in the first place. Preparation before permanent lines go on the page is the best defence against screw ups. IF your layout is good then mistakes on a minor level are easily forgiven
totally! I have huge respect for those who know their way around the traditional medium, in my opinion it takes more skill and talent to use traditional then digital
It's true though! I talk to alot of digital artists that know their stuff and I've got HEAPs of literature on painting. The techniques are all so similar cause digital art tries to replicate traditional art as much as it can. It basically all comes down to what you enjoy. Use a medium you like, not one you don't. You can make excellent results under any medium with the right use of your tools
