Matrix Twin

Posted Nov 2, 2005, 11:56:35 PM UTC
The Matrix trilogy has come and gone...but a special place reamains in my heart for the sinister white wraiths of the Matrix universe: The Twins.  This drawing is purley eye candy.  I wanted to add the other Twin, but I never managed to fit him in.  My new scanner does very well with my light penil technique.

I haven't seen this beautiful work yet, even though it's from 2004! Just wow, you make me love the Twins, who would have thought! You've done a wonderful work on the hair specifically, I've always thought that long hair fits the muscular body exceptionally well ^-^ I also love his smirk very much! Thank you for sharing this beautiful work! ^^

Yes, I love long hair on muscular men! The Twins fascinated me so I was inspired to draw this. Thank you for the comment.

Thanks! When I drew this I hadn't tackled something this real in a while. I was rather pleased with myself when I finished it.

Oh Sliverbane, this is gorgeous!!! Your light pencil shading is wonderful. It is so soft. I knew with0ut even reading the description who this was. You did such a marvelous job. ^_^ Your shading of his body for that muscular structure is phenomenal. See? Now that is how I want to be able to do my shading. Great picture. Yes

Thanks for the comments... ^_^ I use F and H graphite pencils and to get the softness I use blending stumps/sticks. Sometimes I also use and HB or B graphite to add some deapth. Those twins were awesome weren't they?!

Wow very nicely done Sliverbane. I'm not sure if I remember these characters. It's been a while since I've seen those movies.

The shading is really good and I like the pose and the expression. His eye seems to be placed just a touch too close to the edge of his face.

By the way, what is he doing with his hands in his pants? Wink

He's just putting his pants on...yeah, that's it. Innocent

Hmmm, his eye is a little close to the edge. Thanks for the crit.
