Lake Tahoe gouache

First time working with gouache paints. This is based on a photo I took while hiking in Lake Tahoe this year. Took less than 3 hours to paint this.

Will do more gouache. I love this medium!

As always, breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous. I love gouache too! It's so easy to work with and dries quickly, so my impatient self can deal with it. I just don't have the patience to work with oils! Beautiful work, as ever!

This came out great, I am enjoying the feel this has, very detailed and wonderfully painterly. I can tell you enjoyed making this, it shows in the piece. The lighting feels sunny, and the choice of flora gives a cozy touch.

Dear BogusRed - THAT IS PHENOMINAL. You REALLY CAPTURED THE WONDER of nature. The colours are to die for and the detailing is masterful. I wish I could do nature this good. You capture a scene which is important, nature is critical as well as beautiful and has to be preserved for all to enjoy. Not only did you create a wonderous piece of joyful art, you created a treasure that we must all protect for our decendants. Way to go lady.
