Unfinished Fighting Stance

Posted Jan 20, 2006, 9:24:57 AM UTC
Not exactly a sketch as much as a picture I didn't finish. Once again, the scanner chomped off a major part of the paper ~_~; The only reason I can think for posting this picture is this - I need to learn poses other than fighting ones. Any suggestions?

You could use to add maybe, joint bends. Her/his arms and legs look kinda noodley, once again for lack of better term. There are creases in the elbows and knees that need to be shown, or else you get that noodle thing. ^.~

Gah, I don't know how to explain it. I will show you sometime.

Here I can again see the hard pressure with the pencil so just lighten up there and don't put down firm lines until you are sure they are correct. One trick to check your art is to look at it in a mirror. Seeing it flipped helps us to see our artwork with fresh eyes.

There isn't much to comment on. What is the person fighting? That makes a huge difference
