Haruo is the only son of his rich has-been hero of a father. Although his dad doesn't get the respect and praise that he used to, Haruo had always looked up to and been inspired by him. Many of Haruo's thoughts are based around making his father proud.
In an effort to create his own legacy, Haruo left his home and joined a small guild of mercenaries and adventurers. He's not the most skilled fighter, but it's found that when he is motivated by intense feelings, he can be a deadly force on the battlefield.
Haruo has a strong appreciation for camping, myths, and legends, and he has a distaste for cold weather and things that *look* evil.
