Silas the Interdimensional Caterpillar

Cinder discovered her talisman, Silas, while peering into his dimension as he grazed on some peculiar flowers. The flowers awoke some strangeness within Silas, including the power to open portals if he has recently fed. Silas happened to open a portal to Cinder's dimension straight away. She was already mid conversation with him when he arrived, and they quickly became companions. Cinder won't let Silas out of her sight, as he was one of her first true friends. They have been flopping in and out of portals chaotically thus far, but after discovering badges connected with them, have made it their mission to explore for a perfect place to call home. Folks tend to question the why and how of having a sentient creature as a talisman, but Cinder doesn't understand why anyone would travel alone.
