Vorpal Blade, Talisman of the Doctor

A rather unusual item to consider a talisman, but a meaningful talisman all the same.  It is a durable scalpel made out of chrome, silver and gold, bejewelled with an amethyst.  Does not cause much damage with careless swinging, but can slice flesh and sinew perfectly with just the right amount of concentration.

This talisman was passed down to Bertrand by his mother Meredith before her passing.  He takes it with him wherever he goes, not only due to his profession, but in memorium.
