Malcom's Talisman

Malcom's talisman is his staff. It is simply a carved wooden stick slightly shorter than him with a curve at the top. Glowberries have grown to wrap around his staff and any portal badges Malcom receives will be attached to these vines. Whenever Malcom uses magic, it builds up in the curve of the staff into a usable form.

Malcom is very attached to his staff because he made it himself during his time in the swamp. Wands were not working for him and staves were expensive, so he taught himself to make one. This staff gives him almost all of his control for his magic. His lizard, Onyx, also loves to perch on it.
