It's not required, but many adventurers who journey to these different worlds keep their Portal badges on their talisman as a way to showcase all of the places they've journeyed to.

Sun-Hi's talisman is a simple book made with a red paper cover and golden embroidery thread, which she bound herself. It also serves as her magic grimoire, where she keeps notes about her magical studies, spells she's learned, ideas for show routines, and journal entries about her day. It's been lovingly enchanted to hold together through all her reckless adventuring, and to never run out of pages for her to fill. She ties her portal badges together to serve as a sort of decorative bookmark for the grimoire. She never goes anywhere without it.
