#86 - Formal Event

Draw or write about your character's actions at a party or formal event. How are they dancing, if at all? Are they drinking or socializing?

"Won't let me sit under the table... have listen to conversations out in the open, hahhh... people are wearing such shiny things, it isn't a good idea to let me sit up here. When is the food coming?"

"I can't stand it. I can't just sit here. Surely there's something I can do... Zyklare isn't around. And Telerand... he wouldn't report me, right? He didn't report me last time..."

The thoughts of two sperikii who, being lab-raised, have no experience or desire whatsoever to mingle at a formal event.

Paiko made a promise to be on his best behavior, which apparently means be bored. It's not that he doesn't like parties; the celebrations at Katanorias were festive in their own quirky, fun way, and when Meki and Sylvander were involved, he could always rely on them to whisper silly stuff to, raid the snack table, or jam in the karaoke room, or see how many sparkling centerpieces they could "relocate" before anyone noticed.

Nope. Sitting here, unable to eavesdrop unseen, unwilling to talk to strangers in this tight atmosphere. If they brought out the food, at least, it would give him something to do.

Scap lasted approximately five minutes at a table before getting up and poking around the back hallways. He would never be used to the idea of having others do things for him - to be waited on. To be served, instead of doing the serving. After all, that would mean he's earned his place here...

He was caught in the kitchen trying to help clean up dishes. There was a bit of a misunderstanding; someone thought he had snuck into the party posing as waitstaff. Believe it or not, it was more awkward to explain that he was, in fact, on the invitation list, and was trying to sneak into the waitstaff to give himself something to do. Please don't tell anyone, he'll be super good help, promise~
