Prompt 93: Alt Version

Not Always Greener

“I’ve switched places with a lot of my alternate self, but it’s a different experience actually meeting face to face.”  Noah chuckles awkwardly as he stares at his angelic self. 

“You’re telling me,” The angel laughs. “You must be from a universe where dad fell, right? I've been to a couple of them.”

“Yeah.. Surprisingly, I haven’t been to a universe where I’m an angel. What’s it like in Heaven?” Noah raises an eyebrow curiously. 

“Eh, about what you think. Bright and fancy. Although I haven’t been back since dad disowned me, I doubt it’s changed much.”  

“Wait. Dad disowned us??” Noah’s eyes widened. 

“Oh, yeah. I guess you wouldn’t know if you haven’t seen it. Yeah, dad is a big demon hater and disowned me after finding out I had a crush on Lucius.” He explains. 

Lucius was Noah’s boyfriend in almost every universe and also the demon prince.

“Oh,” Was all Noah could think to say. He always sought his father’s approval so if his angel self was disowned, it must’ve hurt a lot. “Sorry to hear that..”
“No worries. I got over it a long time ago. Besides, I have Lucius and mom broke up with him so he dug his own grave.” The angel laughs.
