Currently testing his armor shading. More work to come eventually. :0

Name: Indrid Feros

Species; Salem

Age: 33

Gender: Cis-Male

Book Appearance: The Vauban Era. (The Finale Collection.)

Team Name: Unnamed.

Home:  The Naga Forest

Class: tank summoner

Alignment: lawful evil

Role: lead antagonist of one of the final 4 books. (the 2nd of the four)

Lore: A veteran who fought in the recent Exo-War of The Vauban Era who disappeared during the middle of it at sea. His ship was last seen one twilight evening at the Anyic Ocean where runes and seals decorate the ice. Just as mysterious as he disappeared, he returned with zealous might and existential envy.

Personality: stoic, blunt, skeptical of new teammates, determined, straightforward, cold-hearted.

Face: Mostly obscured by his armor. He has a haircut similar to Velma Dinkely's but is smooth with straight cuts and cut bangs. His skin is pale blue with red eyes and a pinkish-red hair color. I chose the Velma hair bc/ it felt like it fit.

Weapon: Medieval sword. The hilt is especially made for veterans who served in the Exo War.

Skills: rune carving, tracking, hunting, tactics.

Magic: Summons energy constructs of animals and beasts. Summoning magic requires extreme focus for each intricate detail and movement of the construct.

His gambit is called “Jailbreak.” A super speed power that boosts his neural activity and how his nerves work by 10%. It gives him an enhanced speed of 65.592 MPH and freezes the area in large blocks of ice.

As his magic develops, he can create a thin ice barrier that can deflect projectiles with his super speed. (Might scrap that.) Later his magic skills develop into being able to use ice magic with his sword.

Powers: an enhanced sense of direction, the gambit has a freezing passive, incredible mental focus which allows him to summon multiple constructs,

Weaknesses: Can feel insulted by those who are popular due to his existential philosophy, loud sound magic,

Goal: To immortalize his name, memory, and the results of his actions. To him, If the results of his actions don’t stay, then he’s lived for nothing.

Motivation: His discontent with leaving behind what he considers a false legacy comes from the Exo War, and he is fueled by ferocity. (To me, it's a mixture of determination and anger.)

Note: He never makes the first move, he always waits for his foe to get close and attack first before attacking with his sword first. On rare occasions, he’ll use a construct as a first move.

Quotes:

“This place… is a place where myths go to die.” A possible biblical area with many dead, biblical animal bodies in its soil. There could be some strong energy there and it’s where he enacts his final plan.

“If we become myths the results of our actions have died. I plan to become eternal.” He’s speaking metaphorically at the end

“Eternity, huh? Sounds like a nice place.” He holds the religious symbol in his hand tightly before dropping it, leaving the dead body of the kind, old man behind.

Side Character/ If you embrace (heaven?) you can become a better man. What’s more important to you, your mission or your afterlife?

Indrid/ He thinks momentarily, silently staring at him through his visor. “… The mission.”

I didn’t add a whole lot of context, but he’s not one for religion. He believes it can hold him back and going to an afterlife is something he can’t achieve with his mission.
