prompt #2: The Elumis Festival
Antal was supposed to meet up with Marvo and Porceline at the Elumis Festival, but they had gotten sidetracked with something else. He ended up going by himself through this new portal. It had opened up recently, so he wasn't sure of what to expect. A surprised half-elf was greeted to a sky full of glowing lights and the sounds of festivities happening. The majority of of those he saw were made of stone and metal, but there were others whose species he was more familiar with. Avoiding the rock-like beings, he tried to get closer to the festival without being seen.
"What are you doing?"a voice startled him from behind. His leg brace caused him to stumble forward trying to steady himself unsuccessfully. Luckily, the stranger caught him before he fell. The stranger introduced herself as Oria, a fellow half-elf. She explained what was happening and some of the things to do. Antal noticed she had a lantern and she pointed to where he could get one himself. "I don't need a lantern, but thank you." he said and made a small light appear in front of her. "Well, there you go," she offered her elbow to him, "that's all you need."
They got to chatting, and eventually the conversation came to the violin case on his back. He explained that his mom was a musician and his youth had been filled music lessons for just about every instrument his family could get their hands on. "Why don't you play something here then?", Oria then suggested, "After all, what's a party without music?". After finding a spot a bit away from the crowd, he pulled it out and did a few warm ups. After he felt more comfortable, Antal started to get into a more energetic song. As he played, he made his violin glow and emulated the firefly-esque lights heading up into the sky.
