Its interesting eh? I'll never be able to see south america with the same eyes...it change my whole vision. I loved to learn about the natives...you know, the Olmeque, Azteque, inca...it is sooooooooo amazing. But in my classes my, teacher is from South America, so we had another point of view about the conquest. Instead of seeing with the eyes of the conquistadores, we saw history with the eyes of the conquered. I cried like a baby and still do when i see that their situation haven't change in 500 years. They are still opressed, starved and killed like they were in the time of Colombus...sigh...I f you wanna read the book of Rigoberta Menchu...its very hard to read cuz its heartbreaking but its about the revolution in Guatemala in the 80...i tell you there are parts i had to stop because i cried too much, but it is what truly happened. Ah you got me starting on history...im unstoppable hehehe!

Yes, I do understand what you're saying. I truly pitty the great number of those people. I may just do that. Actually, I will. I'm going to go see how soon I can get the book in. See, I can read things like that and not cry. Actually, I almost never cry. My grandmother died a couple years back and I still had no tears. It's not that I don't feel bad that something has happened, I just never let things show. Everyone says I've got a poker face because no one can ever tell what I'm thinking or feeling. lol

Oh, that's fune! I love history and it's nice to talk to someone who has the same love for it I do. ^_^
